Magill Little Athletics Centre
MLAC meets are held on Sunday mornings at the Haslam Oval (Pembroke School) corner The Parade and Gurrs Road, Kensington Park from 8.45am. Finish times vary but are generally 10.00am for Tiny Tots (ages 3 to 5) and between 11.00am and 11.30am for older athletes.
A BBQ and small canteen is offered at the end of most meets. Each summer season runs from October to March. We sincerely thank Pembroke School for the generous use of their fantastic facilities.
All track and field events are timed/measured (except for Tiny Tots) and each athlete is given a results ticket at the end of each meet to stick into their Year Book. The focus is on each athlete to strive to achieve “personal bests” each week.

“The variety of skills that I learned at a young age were crucial to my development as a footballer and an athlete. Practicing different events such as hurdles, high jump and 100m helped improve my versatility and athleticism when it came to football season. Also improving my running technique helped me with speed and agility. I would highly recommend Little Athletics to all who are looking for a sport in the summer time”
Joel Patfull, former AFL player for Brisbane Lions and Greater Western Sydney and former Magill Little Athlete
